Beneath the sleek clipless body, the heavy-duty driveline delivers extreme Velineon® brushless horsepower. The larger Talon™ EXT wheels and tires provide versatility and grip for any terrain, from backyard trails to concrete skate parks. All-New Chassis
The all-new low-CG chassis positions the weight low for aggressive handling. The wheelbase has been lengthened 20mm for the perfect balance of stability and quick response. Brushless Velineon power flows through a larger Revo®-Spec slipper clutch and new extreme heavy-duty driveshafts to ensure performance and strength.

Self-Righting
The Rustler 4X4 VXL uses Traxxas’ patented Self-Righting feature to keep the fun going, even when you get carried away with the wheelies or land that big trick upside down. Simply press a button on the TQi transmitter and, in most circumstances*, the Rustler 4X4 VXL will be back on its wheels in just seconds and ready for more action! *3s power recommended for optimal performance.

Clipless Body Mounting
Similar to the flagship E-Revo, the Rustler 4X4 VXL uses a clipless body latching system for secure mounting and fast, one-handed removal and installation. The sleek, aerodynamic body features a rugged internal structure and external rollover protection for long life and Traxxas-Tough™ durability.

  Traxxas Stability Management™ (TSM) works behind the scenes to help harness the Rustler 4X4 VXL’s extreme brushless power for maximum acceleration and ultra-precise control. Adjust the amount of assistance from off to 100% right from your transmitter.
• New Low-CG Chassis
  Rustler 4X4 rides on a new low-CG chassis that has been lengthened 20mm for extra stability. The low center of gravity and wide track width helps the Rustler 4X4 stay planted in the turns for thrilling high speed fun.
• Revo-Spec Slipper Clutch
  Rustler 4X4 VXL’s slipper clutch has been upgraded to Revo®-Spec with heavy-duty alloy pressure plates and high-temperature aluminum pads for superior power handling. The slipper clutch delivers equal power distribution front to rear for instant throttle response through the drive system and aggressive four-
  wheel-drive grip.
• Beefier 4X4 Drivetrain
  The super-efficient shaft-driven four-wheel-drive system uses an extruded aluminum center driveshaft that joins the front and rear differentials with smooth-running internal splines.

• New Front and Rear Bumpers
  Tough reinforced bumpers protect the chassis against impacts. The specially designed front bumper provides a high approach angle that allows the Rustler to climb up and over obstacles with ease. The rear bumper mounts a perfectly positioned wheelie bar to help prevent the Rustler 4X4 VXL from back-flipping from its explosive power.
• New Talon EXT 2.8″ Tires and Black Chrome Wheels
  The Rustler’s large 2.8″ black chrome wheels provide terrain-conquering ground clearance and a commanding presence. Talon™ EXT tires have a square-shouldered, aggressive tread design to dig into gravel, dirt, and grass for incredible 4X4 traction and huge roost.
• Secure Body Latch
  Rustler’s clipless ProGraphix® body mounts on specially designed shock towers. The easy-to-use latch unlocks instantly with the quick swipe of a thumb and locks again with a noticeable detent to let you know it’s securely fastened.
• Functional Rear Wing
  The functional rear wing reduces drag while still providing valuable downforce for high speed stability. The wing mounts directly to the internal body reinforcements for lasting durability.
• Heavy-Duty Composite Arms
  All-new heavy-duty suspension arms are stronger than ever before. Molded from a tough new composite material, the arms stand up to even the most punishing drivers and resist breakage for non-stop fun behind the wheel.
• Progressive Rate Springs
  Progressive rate springs are lighter through the initial range of travel to maintain traction and composure over small ruts and bumps. Hit the big jumps and the springs tighten up to prevent bottoming the chassis at the extreme ranges of the suspension travel.
• Ultra Shocks
  Oil-filled Ultra Shocks utilize dual X-ring technology for a perfect seal and silky-smooth performance. The large oil capacity and rugged design soaks up big jumps and off-road abuse for smooth driving performance. They are easy to tune with a wide range of available oils, springs, and pistons.
• Optimum-Geometry Steering with Integrated Servo Saver
  A dual-bellcrank design pivots on rubber-sealed ball bearings for smooth action in the harshest conditions. The integrated cam-type servo saver protects the servo gears from crash impacts without sacrificing steering precision.
• Improved Battery Hold-Down
  The Rustler’s innovative battery hold down accommodates traditional flat battery packs as well as “hump” packs. A beefed up latch provides solid locking action to keep batteries secure no matter how wild the action gets.
