Built specifically for Traxxas 1/16 scale models, the VXL-3m speed control and Velineon® 380 motor represent the latest in brushless technology. Fully LiPo compatible with low-voltage detection for 2S and 3S packs and rated for 6-12 NiMH cells, this potent, powerful combo gives E-Revo VXL precise throttle control and blistering top speed. The Velineon 380 is built to the same no-compromise specs as the Velineon 3500 found in Traxxas’ 70+mph 1/10 scale VXL models. High-speed ball bearings. Sintered rotor. Neodymium magnets. Traxxas Stability Management®
Traxxas Stability Management TSM® makes it possible to experience all the extreme power, speed, and acceleration that was engineered into Traxxas models by making it much easier to control the vehicle on common slippery surfaces such as loose dirt, smooth concrete, and even ice and snow. Punch it off the line and TSM goes to work sensing the vehicle’s direction and making steering corrections to provide straight-ahead fullthrottle acceleration without fishtailing, spinouts, and loss of control. TSM also works during cornering, first making intuitive corrections to maintain the vehicle’s line, then hammer the throttle earlier in the turn for much faster exit speeds. Braking is dramatically improved as TSM works to keep Traxxas trucks arrow straight until they come to a complete stop. Traxxas TSM gives all the benefits modern electronic stabilization has to offer without intruding on driving fun or introducing unexpected side effects that can be found on other systems such as drastically reduced turning radius, braking assistance that times out (quits), throttle restrictions, and an overall disconnected driving feel. Traxxas engineers developed superior tuning algorithms that run on high-speed, precision electronic components to create a system that works invisibly, in the background, without ever limiting throttle. TSM can be fine tuned (or turned off) for different surfaces by simply adjusting the multi-function knob on the TQi transmitter, or by adjusting the slider in the Traxxas Link app. The result is driving faster, with more ease, and having more fun. In fact, the driver may not even realize how much TSM is helping until it is turned off and their driving skills are tested without it!

Precision 2.4GHz Control
Traxxas 1/16 E-Revo VXL is equipped with the world’s most advanced Ready-To-Race® radio system. The Traxxas® TQi™ arrives with a full complement of tuning features. Automatic model recognition instantly recalls your settings for up to 30 Traxxas Link-enabled models. Just switch on and drive, no naming or “model memory” settings required. Power up the transmitter and the model you want to drive, and the settings for that model are dialed in immediately! The TQi 2.4GHz transmitter is fully adjustable: steering and throttle end points can be set precisely and the Multi-Function knob can be programmed to control Traxxas Stability Management TSM®, Steering Sensitivity (Expo), Throttle Sensitivity (Expo), Steering Percentage (Dual Rate), Braking Percentage (Dual Rate), or Throttle Trim.

Traxxas Link Wireless Module Compatible
The TQi’s most important new feature may already be in your pocket. Equip the TQi with a Traxxas Link Wireless Module (#6511, sold separately) and turn your Android, iPad® iPhone® or iPod touch® (sold separately) into a powerful tuning tool for your Traxxas model. The full-color display combines with the free Traxxas Link™ App to deliver an intuitive, high-definition, full-color graphical user interface. Traxxas Link also opens the door to telemetry capability when you add optional sensors to your model. The Traxxas Link Application is available on Google Play and the App Store.

5-channel Receiver w/ Traxxas Stability Management
The receiver’s integrated LINK button makes it fast and easy to bind the receiver, and the two-color LED indicates power-on and bind status for fool-proof control and convenience. Traxxas Link Model Memory allows the receiver to recognize up to thirty TQi 2.4Ghz Traxxas Link enabled transmitters—just switch on and drive. In the event of signal loss due to an accidental switch-off or depleted batteries, the receiver will automatically return the throttle to neutral and hold the last commanded steering position. The Fail Safe programming is built-in and does not need to be set or activated. Three telemetry ports are incorporated in the 5-channel receiver to allow real-time data to be transmitted from your Traxxas model to the TQi transmitter.

Sealed Silicone-Filled Differentials
The heavy-duty, steel-gear diffs are factory-filled with premium silicone fluid to prevent unloading and maintain maximum traction and control. It’s a Traxxas innovation you won’t find on any other mini-model.

Pivot Ball Suspension
1/16 E-Revo VXL features pivot-ball suspension for smooth suspension articulation and easy adjustment. Rubber-sealed ball bearings ward off dirt and debris as they increase precision and reduce friction, and the oversized 8×12 mm inboard bearings maximize durability. For extra security, the heavy-duty axle carriers are designed so the universal-joint axles’ crosspins are captured by the inner bearings.

Waterproof Electronics
Mud. Water. Snow. 1/16 E-Revo VXL’s waterproof electronics and fully sealed receiver box let you make tracks in conditions that leave other trucks parked at home. Traxxas’ patented waterproof receiver box puts 1/16 E-Revo VXL in a league of its own. The antenna and servo wires route neatly through a special watertight seal. To protect the receiver from dust and water a custom shaped blue O-ring seals the receiver box.

Digital High-Torque Waterproof Steering Servo
Small but powerful, the 1/16 E-Revo VXL’s 2080 servo cranks out 41.7 oz.-in. of tire-turning torque with digital circuitry for responsive control—even in water, mud and snow, thanks to its o-ring-sealed waterproof construction.

All-Terrain Tires & Wheels
Each corner of the 1/16 E-Revo VXL is equipped with soft-compound Talon tires that are mounted and pre-glued on impressive 53 mm Gemini chrome wheels. 12 mm mounting hexes open the door to additional wheel and tire combos to tune traction for specific surfaces—even foam tires for carpet racing.

Dual Battery Compartments
1/16 E-Revo VXL already blows the rest away with its 30+mph out-of-the-box speed using the included 6-cell Power Cell NiMH battery pack. The chassis’ dual battery compartments let you add a second NiMH battery pack (sold separately) for 14.4 volts of power. Install the included “speed pinion,” and top speed jumps to 50+ mph.

Quick-Release Battery Doors
1/16 E-Revo VXL uses an innovative solution for easy battery installation. Quick release doors snap open and closed in seconds for fast and easy battery loading. There are no clips to lose in the field and the potential for fast battery changes during pit stops opens the door for a whole new class of electric truck racing.

Progressive Rate Travel
With over 50 mm of suspension travel, 1/16 E-Revo VXL offers the most articulation possible for bump and jump handling capability that leaves other trucks far behind. Oil-Filled GTR Shocks™
1/16 E-Revo VXL’s super-smooth oil-filled shocks damp the suspension and maintain control no matter how rugged the terrain. They are fully tuneable and include pressure bladders for air/oil separation and threaded spring pre-load collars for quick ride height adjustments.

Revo Suspension
A defining feature of the E-Revo, expertly executed in 1/16 scale—the unique Revo suspension geometry increases wheel travel to lengths normally found on larger models. Springs and shocks absorb small bumps with ease, but stiffen progressively to resist bottoming out over large jumps.
